Leadenhall’s distribution network now includes over 12,000 cooperating agents and brokers, offering clients a range of specialized insurance products.
This change marks a new chapter in the company’s development. Tomasz Domalewski joined Leadenhall Insurance in 2013 and played a key role in building the company. Without his hard work and creativity, it would not have transformed from a small organization with just two products into a well-established brand in the specialty insurance market.
“Tomek has brought immense value to our organization and helped it transition to a higher level. A few years ago, we were a small company with premium income of a few million PLN and under a thousand intermediaries in our sales network. Today, we are in a different stage, a mature entity setting trends in key product areas. I deeply thank Tomek for over a decade of collaboration and wish him success in his future career,” summarizes Maciej Bud-Gusaim, CEO of Efinity Insurance Group.
Today, Leadenhall offers 15 technology-driven products: D&O, professional liability with the widest range of professions on the market, several income protection and life insurance packages, projected to generate 80 million PLN in premium income in 2024.
“At the end of this year, I’ll conclude my journey with Leadenhall, passing the mission of leading sales to Renata. For over a decade, with the team and support from our partners, we built a company with a unique insurance offering and a strong market position from scratch. This fills me with pride, satisfaction, and gratitude for being actively involved in shaping this story. I am committed to the continued growth of the company and the smooth handover of responsibilities. Until December 31, I will serve as a consultant, guiding Renata in the sales projects I managed and helping to achieve our 2024 goals. I am confident that Leadenhall still has much to offer and will continue to surprise the market by bringing a fresh, innovative approach to insurance distribution,” says Tomasz Domalewski.
Renata Kudła-Rajca has over 30 years of professional experience. She has been in the insurance industry for 18 years, spending 17 years managing sales teams at Generali Group. She joined Leadenhall in the fall of 2023 and has since worked closely with Tomasz Domalewski, leading the Remote Sales Coordinators team. In her new role, she will also oversee the team of Regional Sales Directors and the Director of Broker Relations.
“I have the challenging task of matching Tomek’s knowledge and experience, as he has been building this company for over a decade. My goal is to continue on the same path, focusing on broad, intensive reach to clients with specialty insurance. Over the next three years, we plan to double our current portfolio and significantly increase our market share. We’ll pursue this goal with both agents and brokers, aiming to expand and activate our sales network to reach 15,000 active intermediaries by 2025,” adds Renata Kudła-Rajca.
The new Head of Sales aims to strengthen and expand both the field and remote sales teams. She also plans to systematically increase the share of life and income protection policies in the company’s portfolio, as well as introduce new, more mainstream products. Additionally, she will continue the company’s growth in the insurtech space, focusing on innovations to accelerate sales and automate manual tasks.
